Thalia Kehoe Rowden

Thalia is a communications professional with a strong interest in social justice. She works for Motu on the Human Rights Measurement Initiative (HRMI) two days a week. The rest of the time she is a freelance writer for websites like The SpinoffThe Sapling and Storypark.

Thalia has a BA in Linguistics and an LLB(Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington, and was the top graduate in Applied Theology at Carey Baptist College in Auckland, New Zealand. She was the pastor of New Plymouth West Baptist Church for four years before having children. Thalia and her family lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand, working for international NGO Partners Relief & Development before returning to Aotearoa in 2017.
