Gemma Wills

Gemma was a 2012/2013 summer intern at Motu. She was originally attracted to Motu by the wide range of research areas and the opportunity to apply the different areas of her study. During her time at Motu, Gemma worked with Arthur Grimes on a project concerning material wellbeing.

After leaving Motu, Gemma went on to complete her conjoint degree at the University of Auckland in Commerce (Economics) and Science (Statistics and Geography). In 2015, she began at ANZ as a graduate in Risk.

Gemma really enjoyed her time at Motu. It allowed her to better understand the entire research process, develop her technical skills and gain very practical experience. Gemma also found that Motu provided a fantastic working environment, with the opportunity to work alongside incredibly talented and supportive people.
