Rob Fenwick

Rob Fenwick became a Trustee of Motu in October 2011 and retired from the Board of Trustees in July 2015.

He is Co-Founder of Living Earth Limited, a nationwide organic waste recovery and composting company with operations in Auckland and Christchurch, and has been involved in many aspects of resource recovery and waste minimisation. He is Chairman of the NZ Waste Advisory Board.

Rob is a founding member and executive councillor of the NZ Business Council for Sustainable Development. He is also Chairman of Antarctica New Zealand, BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust, Deputy Chairman of TVNZ, and a member of the Boards of carboNZero and Air NZ Environment Trust. He was formerly Chairman of Landcare Research, and Chancellor of the Order of St John. 

He was appointed Companion of the NZ Order of Merit in 2008 and was one of North & South Magazine’s New Zealanders of the Year in 2001.
