Want to work for an organisation doing top-quality economic and public policy research for environmental and social good? Applications for research analysts and interns are now open.
As part of Motu Research's commitment to building economic research capacity in Aotearoa New Zealand, we employ a small number of outstanding early-career economists as research analysts (RAs). These are usually recent graduates with honours or master's degrees in economics, statistics, or a related field.
We are seeking applications for two positions - one for an immediate start and one to start after the university year has finished, starting in late 2025 or early 2026 (we are flexible about the start date). See here for more information.
Motu also offers paid summer internships. This internship programme is designed to apply and extend students’ empirical skills and help their development as researchers. We are seeking applications for two intern positions. See here for more information.
