Associate Professor Sandy Morrison's research interests include Te Tiriti o Waitangi/ Treaty of Waitangi, adult education, participatory training processes and indigenous development issues.

Sandy is Associate Professor & Acting Dean Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao, Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Development (FMIS), University of Waikato.

Sandy is also the Vision Mātauranga Leader for the Antarctic Science Platform and the Deep South Challenge.
