Kiwis are rare and unique to New Zealand: our national symbol, our nickname. Yet some species are endangered. How can we most effectively protect this critical part of our heritage and identity and do our part to preserve biodiversity? Is the current Resource Management Act the best structure for formulating social objectives about kiwi
protection and providing appropriate habitat?
